up at crazy o'clock (thanks east coast time) and taking a deep breath. back home - surrounded by dogs, and organizing the next round of this life - I want to stop and say thank you. Thank you to the art and culture of NYC and the inspiration it constantly throws my way. Thank you to Yours Truly, Michele for being a great musician and an amazing tour mate - who knew 11 days on the road could go so fast! Thank you to the incredible musicians we shared stages with - including but not limited to JonEmery Dodds, John Shepski, Matthew James Sasser, Bart Budwig, Anna Tivel, Antonette Goroch, and many more, thanks to the venues that gave us stages, libations, and sustenance while we sang our hearts out for you - yes I'm looking at you Fox & Goose Public House, Oberon's Restaurant and Bar, The Secret Society, Trillium Cafe, Hattie's Hat, Axe and Fiddle, Sirens Pub, The Sevrd Head, and Orr Hot Springs Resort! And holy wow thanks to our hosts who kept us off the streets and gave us warm beds full of friendship, laughter, and love where we could crash and refuel - special call outs to Ed & Laura, Bethany & Paul, Erin & Ryan, Emily & Jarrod, Whitney & Molly, and Antoinette - you made 2300 miles seem like home - thank you for your generosity and rockstar-ness. xoxoxoxox (now to recover before the next tour in Sept!) photo by Wolf taken at Hattie's Hat in Seattle
